Located at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, the SkyBridge in Gatlinburg is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America.
From the SkyBridge, you can see downtown Gatlinburg and stunning views of the Smoky Mountains, including the three highest peaks.
How Long Is The Skybridge in Gatlinburg?
The record-breaking bridge is 680 feet long – the length of almost two football fields! Nestled in the center of the bridge are glass panels so you can see the ground 150 feet below your feet.
How Long Does It Take to Cross the Gatlinburg SkyBridge?
Walking at a “normal” pace, it only takes about three minutes to get from one end to the other. Naturally, you’ll want to stop along the way to enjoy the views, snap photos, and check out the glass bottom halfway through.
The SkyLift ride lasts 20 minutes round-trip.
Overall, we’d suggest you allow at least 1-2 hours to enjoy everything the SkyLift Park has to offer.
Do You Have to Ride the Skylift to Get to the Skybridge?
Yes. To access the SkyBridge, you must purchase an admission ticket and ride the SkyLift to the top of the mountain.
Since 1954, people have been riding the Gatlinburg SkyLift to the top of Crockett Mountain to enjoy the view. The SkyLift is one of the oldest continuously operated attractions in the Smoky Mountains.
Gatlinburg SkyBridge Hours
Weather permitting, the SkyBridge in Gatlinburg is open from 9 AM to 10 PM daily.
If you purchase/redeem your ticket after 8 PM, you automatically receive access the very next day until closing time.
SkyBridge Gatlinburg Prices
The cost for a SkyLift Park ticket is:
- $32 for ages 12-64
- $25 for ages 65+
- $19 for ages 4-11
- $0 for ages 3 and under
If you purchase your tickets online 2+ days in advance, you get a discount on your ticket price.
Gatlinburg SkyBridge Tickets
You can get your ticket online. Online ticket holders can bypass the ticket window line and go directly to the SkyLift loading line.
You can also purchase tickets at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park ticket window. The address is 765 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
Your ticket will grant you unlimited all-day access until the park closes, weather permitting. You get access to the SkyLift, SkyDeck, SkyTrail, SkyCenter, and the Gatlinburg SkyBrige.

Question – Is there a cost to use the sky lift and a cost for the sky bridge or is it one cost?
It’s one cost! You pay to take the lift and then can visit the bridge and the skypark. 🙂
